Odyssey’s Global Prospectivity Assessment applies a proprietary evaluation system that integrates multivariate geological modeling with geopolitical analysis to identify high-potential marine mineral exploration opportunities around the world. This approach enables early-stage identification of areas that may support sustainable development of seafloor resources within national Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs). Odyssey's GP analysis evaluates key geological and oceanographic factors—such as surface productivity, seafloor age, bathymetry, and tectonic setting—to identify regions favorable for mineral occurrences. Existing geochemical, hydroacoustic, and biological information is synthesized to validate the geological potential of target areas. By combining data layers into a comprehensive prospectivity model, Odyssey can pinpoint large-scale zones worth investigating further.

Odyssey applies a disciplined, science-driven approach to evaluating and advancing marine resources. Using a combination of geological expertise, advanced technologies, and regulatory alignment, the process is designed to responsibly identify and validate seafloor deposits that can support long- clean energy and food security goals. Once a promising area is identified, Odyssey works within national legal frameworks to secure mineral licenses and establish agreements that support future exploration. Exploration programs use seafloor mapping and sampling techniques to identify potential deposits. Detailed laboratory analysis is performed to confirm mineral composition and quality, culminating in the preparation of a formal resource assessment aligned with international standards.
