Shipwreck Discovery Era (Pioneering Ocean Exploration)
Odyssey made headlines by finding some of the most famous shipwrecks in history—from a Civil War-era treasure ship, to a World War II-era silver-laden steamship, to Punic vessels dating before Christ, along with hundreds of other historically significant discoveries. Odyssey successfully found more shipwrecks than any other organization in the world, but over time, it became clear that other treasures on the seafloor could be even more valuable to society and the global economy.

Although the focus has evolved, Odyssey remains committed to being a responsible steward of the ocean and its resources.
