Cybersecurity
Our proactive cybersecurity prevention program includes 24/7 third-party monitoring, state-of-the-art firewalls and software, multiple system backups and a recovery program. This program is discussed and reported on at formal board meetings. We have also increased resources and are taking other steps to help increase our overall security profile. During 2024, we also increased formal employee training, including phishing and other related testing.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
We recognize that the adoption of AI-assisted tools, when used responsibly, can help strengthen the quality and efficiency of our work. Our use of AI is guided by an internal Responsible AI Policy and overseen by our AI Risk Working Group. The policy sets expectations for ethical use of AI tools, data protection, and human oversight. Employees receive training to facilitate the responsible and secure use of AI for internal tasks such as documentation, analysis, and workflow management. Only company-managed AI systems that do not expose internal information are approved for use.
