Matt is a seasoned accounting and finance executive with over two decades of experience spanning diverse industries, including energy, construction, manufacturing and distribution, retail, food and beverage, mining, and agriculture. With a strong foundation in PCAOB and AICPA auditing standards, Matt has built a reputation as a trusted advisor in complex financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic business transactions.

Most recently serving as a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s Transactional and Technical Topics (T3) group, Matt led audit procedures for high-profile mergers and acquisitions and goodwill impairment assessments, supporting some of the firm’s largest U.S. assurance clients. Prior to this, he held Director, Sr. Director, and Partner roles at PwC, RSM, and Moss Adams, where he directed multi-million-dollar audit engagements, spearheaded business development initiatives, and led cross-functional teams through complex accounting and regulatory challenges.

Matt is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida and Texas, and previously in North Carolina and Colorado. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University. A recognized leader in the accounting community, Matt has served on multiple boards, including the Colorado Society of CPAs and the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies, where he was a past president.
